We are locally owned and operated by Charles Efird (early photo of the service techicians with their trucks). Charles’ father, Mr. J.W. Efird, opened Modern Exterminating in 1952. For 30 years, J.W. owned and managed the company until he passed away in 1982. Then and now, we continue to provide the highest quality pest and moisture control to all of Eastern NC.
